Visual Design

Below are a few special examples of my visual graphic design work. From clients to corporate work, to passion projects there is a fair amount of variety. You might notice my love for bright colours.

FLARE Magazine

Flare Magazine is a 40-page creative magazine inspired by and made for the beautiful and empowering women of Perth. The content and layout were all self-made and curated.

Swell Youth Festival

Working for the City of Nedlands, I designed and created a wide variety of collateral for each of the departments from digital to print. The breadth of work taught me the importance of process and workflow. In this particular example team, I was asked by the community development team to create a campaign for Swell Youth Fest - an annual children’s event. This is the collateral created for the event.

What's Your Flavour

What's Your Flavour is a motion graphic that I created as part of my degree. I illustrated numerous fruits that slowly became animated as the graphic went on. This artwork was shown on the Yagan Square Tower screen (Unfortunately not Picadilly Circus as below) in Perth CBD for a year in 2020. Because of the proximity to busy roads, it was important that the visual wasn't too fast or chaotic. The visual was also paired with a funky upbeat honky-tonk-esque tune as it rotated around the tower. The purpose of the design reveal itself during production and that was to promote healthy living.
